Re:  Gichon Water Bills

 

I have written two letters to Gichon and have received two replies

 

Basically Gichon acknowledges that there is a problem with the bills and states that they are looking into each account carefully.

 

In the second letter they stated that they are doing their best to rectify the problem and consumers will be giving rebates in respect of the overcharged accounts

 

Gichon has sent out a further set of accounts to consumers, some consumers received  even higher accounts than the last ones.  I wrote to Gichon today and told them to stop sending out new accounts. I pointed out to them that their computer was charging many consumers in price A Band C categories and so instead of receiving bills for Nis 100 or Nis 200 every few months, consumers were receiving bills for Nis 1000 to Nis 5000 which they could not afford to pay.

 

Gichon has asked me to obtain Powers of Attorneys from all the consumers I am representing before it will deal with their accounts.

 

If you would like me to act for you please print out the  Power of Attorney,  complete it, sign it, email it together with a copy of your account to raya.ginzburg@hagihon.co.il and then send me an email copy of your Power of Attorney. Please also send Hagihon a written copy of your Power of Attorney to

If you have family or friends who do not have email access, who wish to join us in sorting out our accounts please print out Powers of Attorney for them let them complete them, sign them and email and post them to Gichon with a copy of their account and then send me an email copy of the Power of Attorney
